~After listening to our Past President Tom McIndoe recognize associations and their leadership’s contributions these past 2 years, it became apparent to me that “we do have a remarkable association”. Tom’s list of what we have done left me in awe of not only all that we have accomplished, but how much there still is to do.
I am grateful to Tom and past leadership for their diligence and success in making NSA the largest specialty subcontractors association in the U.S. – representing nearly 4,000 of the finest subcontractors across the nation. There is strength in numbers and NSA has a powerful voice in the construction industry.
As President, it is my objective to carry on the legacy of NSA by building a team of “champions” while staying true to its mission of “promoting the exchange of information among member organizations and foster opportunities for industry representation on a national level. NSA member associations represent businesses in nearly every specialty trade, as well as suppliers and professional service providers to the subcontracting industry”.
I’m confident that we will remain true by continuing to encourage all who seek opportunities to not only grow their associations, but to grow their businesses. Whether you are in a leadership role within your association or a leader in your business, we offer a learning experience that everyone benefits from. You can find out firsthand the value of NSA to your association by attending our 2020 annual conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. Save the Date: April 22 – 24, 2020.
True to our mission, the annual conference provides a platform for the exchange of information, education and networking opportunities. My goal is to engage association leaders and their specialty contractors from across the nation and mentor future leadership to keep the momentum going that past leaders have benefited from.
I am honored to accept this new role and look forward to the opportunity to serve as the President of the National Subcontractors Alliance (NSA).
